Professionals Register as Patients

A professional who has seen their own health data in PKB is enthusiastic about explaining the benefits to patients of registering. A professional who has never logged into PKB as a patient is anxious about when explaining PKB to patients.

This is also an easy and big win. An organisation has already verified the identity of its employees face-to-face at the start of employment so do not need to ask for any further identification to register their staff. It is also routine to send out communication to staff to encourage them to sign up and to provide registration points within the day-to-day work of staff.

IMPORTANT: Staff should use their own personal email addresses to register for their personal PKB account, their NHS email address should be used for their Professional PKB account.
